Extremely Long Layovers

So Projects Abroad scheduled all my flights for my trip to Bolivia, which for the most part was fine until I reached Santa Cruz.  The Santa Cruz airport is really small.  They only have 9 gates.  My flight arrived in Santa Cruz at about 7:30 local time.  It took about an hour to go through immigration to get my visa and then through customs. Needless to say since then I have been waiting for a flight to Cochabamba that doesn’t even leave until after 3!  I didn’t sleep at all on the plane last night so it’s all I can do to stay awake. I’m not sure why the program planned my flights like this but I just want to go to bed! I feel terrible that I’m going to be so tired when I finally meet my family this afternoon!  I’m just so tired of sitting in this airport.
